Welcome to my website
This website has been put up solely out of personal interest and to serve as a platform for myself to be able to experiment.
In daily life I earn my living with creating beautiful web based applications for various customers. About two years ago I started with doing this on the Microsoft .NET platform. To make myself at home on this platform as soon as possible, I started a small trial project for myself in my spare time. This project grew out to be the website as it is today.
The consequence of this process is that almost everything on the website has been created by me. In some cases this meant reinventing the wheel, but it helped me to get lots of insight in how these wheels work.
Off course, here and there has been made use of third party software. I will write a blog in some time about these software libraries.
The target of this website is, besides the experimental part, that it is a window to my interests and ideas. That is why the website is split into four themes: photography, software development, travelling and music. The homepage acts as a bucket for these four themes and will contain usually the most recent topics out of those four themes.
Concerning the technical part of this website, I will write a couple of blogs that will give some insight in how the website is set up and which choices have been made during its development. At the moment of writing no blogs are available, but the plan is that this changes soon.
