Fly (an unwieldy but still charming name... just) he's always managed to define himself outside of the wishy-washy encampment, being just that bit too spiky to succumb to weediness, and circumventing the soggiest and snottiest edges of emo and twee. He's the Jens Lekman you might not easily beat in a pub scrap.

  Het duurde even, maar uiteindelijk is de tweede plaat van Joshua Radin dan ook in Nederland uitgebracht. In zijn thuisland Amerika kwam de schijf al in 2008 uit, en behaalde successen door onder andere airplay via grote series als Greys Anatomy, Bones, Scrubs, One Tree Hill en American Idol. Niet de kleinste commerciële links dus. Nederland gaat er nu ook aan geloven, want ook hier wordt de singer-songwriter steeds populairder. Op Radio 1, 2 en 3FM hoor je zijn leadsingle 'I'd Rather Be With You' minstens vijf keer per dag voorbij komen. En ook de komende singles van zijn plaat Simple Times zullen aardig wat te beluisteren zijn.
