Since 2 days we are in Byron Bay. The wheather becomes much better now after 2 days with lots of rain. Right now we already enjoyed a lot of sun.
Sam, the Canadian girl, travelled with us from Brisbane. Underways we went to Nimbin as well. Everybody who has been in Australia, must have heard of it. It is some sort of little Amsterdam. THE place to buy your pot. 
There are walking a lot of addictives in the only street of the little village. I haven't seen it that worse in Amsterdam. Every person in the street will ask you if you already bought your pot. If not, he will be glad to offer you some. Thus there is strong competition.
Well, it is a place to buy your grass, drink a cup of coffee and leave behind. On to Byron Bay.
For two days now, we played around with body boards and 1 time with a surf board. It is pretty tough, especially if you don't have vins on your feet. Also the waves were that high that you must be insane to sail into them without proper gear.
But, it is getting better and better. Everyday we learn more. And it gives you a lot of satisfacting when you are able to catch a (small) wave.
Next week back to Singleton. We will park the car there for the period we are in Fiji and New Zealand.
For the meantime we have very much surfing pleasure!
