  The Temper Trap is een redelijk nieuwe rock band uit Melbourne, Australië. Ik heb ze leren kennen via radio 3FM en later in augustus heb ik ze op Lowlands gezien, waar ze na afloop een enorm lang applaus kregen. De band klinkt veelbelovend en ik vind hun muziek helemaal top. Het ligt een beetje tussen Indie rock, Post punk en Alternative rock in. De leden bestaan uit Lorenzo Sillitto (gitaar), Dougy Mandagi (zang), Jonathon Aherne (bass) en Toby Dundas (drums).
